Zense 是一隊於 09年成立的無伴奏合唱組合，由一群來自香港歌劇院合唱團之年輕團員成立。他們均長期接受專業古典聲樂訓練，更有不少畢業自各大專院校之音樂系，演出經驗豐富，彼此亦曾在不同的歌劇和音樂會中合作，但卻希望跳出大劇院和音樂廳，故成立此組合，以更多不同種類的音樂和大眾分享。

「Zense」一字源自「sense」， 旨在以專業歌唱技巧帶給聽眾無伴奏合唱的全新感受，而名字 Zense 一字亦與「聲」相似，以顯示純以人聲合唱能為聽眾帶來的魅力。 Zense 各團員雖以古典聲樂出身，他們的演出卻充滿活力及多元化，不論流行曲、音樂劇、古典歌曲甚至電子舞曲，他們均囊括於其表演曲目當中。他們演繹的歌曲均全由自己重新編製，以配合各團員之音色。亦因為他們都是能獨當一面的歌者，故隊伍中並沒有既定主音歌手，每個團員均有機會為適合自己的歌曲擔任主唱。

Zense 於 2010 年 1 月為香港青年協會荃灣青年空間作首次演出，獲一致好評，其後陸續應邀於不同場合及商場作表演嘉賓，曾於 Megabox、K11 Art Mall、樂富廣場、屯門巿廣場等商場表演，亦曾應邀為民政事務署舉辦之北區清潔香港運動擔任表演嘉賓。Zense 亦於 2010 年 3 月於香港 2010 國際無伴奏合唱節中參加由瑞典頂尖無伴奏組合 Riltons Vänner 指導的大師班，亦於同年 5 月「領匯非常學堂」之無伴奏中港交流分享會中與來自上海的 Finda Vox 及香港的 Un Momento 同台演出。

Zense is an a cappella group formed in 2009. It was formed by a group of young members from Opera Hong Kong Chorus. They were professionally trained in classical singing, and lots of them were graduated from music degrees. They are experienced in music performances, and had been cooperating in many opera productions and concerts. But they would also like to share their music apart from classical ones, and would like to reach more groups of audience. So Zense was formed to show their diversity in music performances.

The name "Zense" is originated from the word "sense", in order to aim at providing audiences a new sensation of a cappella music through professional performances and to show the power of pure voices.

Although the members of Zense were classically trained, their performances are showing great diversity and are energetic. They include popular songs, musicals, classicals and even electric dance music into their repertoire. As all of them are well-trained vocalists, Zense do not have fixed leading vocalists. Each of the members would be able to take the lead on the songs those are suitable to his voice.

Zense made their debut performance for HKFYG Tsuen Wan Youth S.P.O.T. in January, 2010, and were invited by different associations and shopping arcades to give a cappella performances. They had been performing at Megabox, K11 Art Mall, Lok Fu Plaza, Tuen Mun Town Plaza, etc., and had been invited to be guest performers at a Clean Hong Kong campaign at North District by the HKSAR Government Home Affairs Office. At Hong Kong 2010 International A Cappella Festival in March, Zense attended the master class taught by Riltons Vänner from Sweden. Then Zense were performing with Finda Vox from Shanghai and Un Momento from Hong Kong at The Link Academy - A Cappella Performance in May.
