In September 2007 a group of students from The Baptist University of Hong Kong (HKBU) got together and sang for fun. They found themselves so attracted by a cappella singing, and established the Sphere a few months later. They first appeared as guest performer in campus events and university conferences, before performing publicly since summer 2008. It has sang in local schools, Hong Kong Station (“Art in MTR-living art” programme), youth centers, as well as in Australia (with HKBU Choir).

二零零七年九月，一群熱愛音樂的香港浸會大學同學聚首一堂，為他們的樂事而高歌。在彼此分享音樂的過程中，他們發覺人聲本身就是世上最奇妙、最美麗的發聲器，更深深被無伴奏人聲合唱的技巧吸引著，數月後，他們便成立了“The Sphere”。

“The Sphere”曾於校園節及大學聯會會議作表演嘉賓，及至二零零八年夏季，更跳出了校園的框框，開始活躍於校外的無伴奏人聲合唱世界，曾於港鐵香港站「港鐵車站藝術表演?及多間中學作表演，並致力帶領工作坊，更曾隨香港浸會大學合唱團遠赴澳洲，與當地的音樂組織交流取經，不斷追求進步。

“The Sphere”珍惜每一個推廣無伴奏人聲音樂的機會，盼能把這種表演形式普及於校園以至社區。
